Kevin Hart said “everybody wants to be famous, nobody wants to do the work.” I agree. But when it comes to building a business I believe, “everybody wants a profitable business but not everyone wants to take consistent action.”
Action is the one element that separates the ordinary from extraordinary and the mediocre from exceptional. When you look at the most successful people in the world, you’ll find that they believe in taking massive action. No ifs ands or buts about it. They take action.
So, why doesn’t everyone take consistent action? The short and simple answer is because of fear. As entrepreneurs, we all want to reach our full potential and build the business of our dreams. But, there’s one thing you must commit to doing and that’s to keep going even in the face of fear. Many entrepreneurs start their business full of energy, excitement, and determination until they face a challenge, obstacle or big decision. In that moment, they begin to negotiate and question their success, freedom and happiness.
No matter what challenge, obstacle or situation you face your commitment to have what you desire isn’t an option, it’s a requirement. You must take consistent action…through the highs and lows and the peaks and the valleys. At the end of the day there are two forms of action – one gets results while the other comes complete with a full suite of sexy excuses wrapped in fear. Consistent action yields results, success and ultimately, profits.
