Which is better – a system that runs your business or you running your business? The answer to this question will lead to one of two places in your business – a money pit or a pot of gold (profits!). If you’re running your business without systems then you have a money pit. But a money pit could very well become a pot of gold. If you already have systems in place in your business, but feel like you’re still doing all the work then you may not have the right systems in place or you may not be using them consistently enough to experience the benefits.
One of the biggest reasons, if not the biggest reason entrepreneurs are overwhelmed and frustrated is because they’re working extremely hard in their business and not making the money they desire. If this sounds familiar there’s good news. You don’t have to work so hard. You can have it all – freedom, success and profits!
In order to turn a money pit into a pot of gold, ask yourself the following questions:
- What tasks or actions take the most time in my business?
- What are the tasks that I repeat daily or weekly?
- What tasks or actions do I least enjoy but I believe I must do?
The last and final question:
- Is there a system that I can implement to handle this task and free up my time to focus on generating more revenue?
Your answer to the last and final question should lead you to more profits! With a system or systems in place to do the work that you were previously doing, you now have more time to spend selling your products and services. And guess what? That means more money in your bank account!
